Day 36: June 3, 2026 – Sprints, Strategy, and Late-Night Quizzes
Wednesday was an intense, high-energy day. Because I am taking time off next week for my spiritual journey, I had to dive into deep, heavy discussions at the office to hand over and wrap up major tasks. I stretched my hours quite a bit to finish everything smoothly, and now, I’m just waiting to see the results of today's hard work.
Despite the hectic office schedule, I made no compromises. I rushed back, attended my physiotherapy session for my shoulder, and completed both my evening pooja and Sandhyavandanam on time before diving back into the Bhagavatham. To end the night on a fun note, "An " Amma and I played a few matches of QuizUp. The general knowledge battles were incredibly intense, ending in nail-biting close finishes and ties! It’s become a fantastic, fun ritual to test our brains every night.
The only struggle lately is that my sleep cycle has taken a bit of a hit, making it quite difficult to wake up early in the mornings. I need to consciously work on resetting it.
Today’s Lesson
Lord Ayyappa taught me today that a busy schedule is never an excuse to drop your discipline. Whether it is stretching at work, pushing through physical therapy, or honoring your prayers, capacity expands when you stay committed. And when the day gets heavy, a simple game or laughter is all it takes to find your smile again.
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.
