Day 31: May 29, 2026 – The Reality of Kapila Geetha

On Friday, my journey through the Bhagavatham brought me to the profound teachings of the Kapila Geetha. Listening to Lord Kapila explain the absolute truths of life, the nature of the soul, and the binding grip of material attachment was a deeply eye-opening experience.
The discourse literally took me back with its raw honesty about human reality. It strips away the illusions we build around our daily lives, our relationships, and our worldly achievements, forcing us to look at the ultimate truth of existence. Experiencing this philosophy while maintaining the strict disciplines of the Deeksha made the words hit home with incredible force. It made me realize just how temporary everything around us is, and how permanent our connection to the divine truly is.
Today’s Lesson
Lord Ayyappa taught me today through Kapila Geetha that the greatest illusion is thinking we own anything in this world. True awareness begins when we look past the temporary attachments of daily life and recognize that our ultimate purpose is to remain anchored to the eternal truth.
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.
