Day 22: The Rolling Dice and Midweek Trophies

Day 22: The Rolling Dice and Midweek Trophies
Wednesday turned out to be an incredibly rewarding day at work. I had the opportunity to meet several new people and hosted a small, successful professional gathering. To add to the momentum, I was honored with another appreciation award during the event!
Between the corporate recognition today and the Man of the Series title from the cricket tournament, the accolades have really been stacking up lately. Honestly, I might actually need to invest in a proper trophy cabinet pretty soon.
### Choosing the Sanctuary of Home
Because Thursday is a holiday, the holiday mood had completely taken over the office. Almost everyone around me was busy making grand plans to head out, travel, or maximize the long weekend.
While the buzz of vacation plans was all around me, my mind was anchored somewhere else entirely. I just wanted to head straight back to my own space. The momentum of this Deeksha is fully locked in now—the dice is rolling, and nothing is stopping it. I made it home on time, stood before the deity, and proudly completed my evening Sandhyavandanam and pooja rituals without skipping a single beat.
With all my duties beautifully aligned and the discipline fully intact, I am heading to bed completely ready to enjoy a deeply satisfying, lazy holiday tomorrow.
### Today’s Lesson
Lord Ayyappa taught me today that when external success and applause start coming your way, the best place to ground yourself is at the altar. The world will always celebrate your wins, and the crowd will always chase the next big holiday weekend. But true peace is knowing that your greatest appointment is the one you keep with the divine every single evening.
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.
