Day 16: The Steady Rhythm
After a week filled with high-intensity cricket matches, awards, doctor visits, and changing schedules, Day 16 brought a very welcome sense of quiet and stability. It was a regular Thursday, but in the middle of a forty-one-day journey, an ordinary day is a true blessing.
### Back to Routine
With the hectic events of the past few days behind me, I was able to get my schedule completely back on track. My morning and evening Sandhyavandanam and pooja rituals were done right on time, without any rush or distractions.
At work, things moved smoothly and steadily. My heel is getting the rest it needs, and the physical soreness from the tournament is finally beginning to fade. It felt good to just focus on my tasks, maintain my corporate responsibilities, and keep my mind calm throughout the day.
### The Peace of Normalcy
In the evening, I prepared a simple dinner, completed my prayers, and enjoyed the quiet environment at home. There were no big announcements, no trophies, and no sudden disruptions—just a steady, peaceful flow from dawn to dusk.
### Today’s Lesson
Lord Ayyappa taught me today that spirituality is found just as much in the quiet, ordinary days as it is in the big milestones. Staying disciplined when nothing major is happening requires a different kind of focus. It is about appreciating the silence, resting the body, and keeping the lamp burning steadily.
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.
