Day 14: The Echo of Victory
Walking into the office today felt completely different. Word about Sunday’s finals had spread, and I was greeted with a wave of congratulations from everyone for winning the Man of the Series title and pulling off those heroics on the field. It was wonderful to see my colleagues celebrate the win with me, especially knowing the physical limits and injuries I had to fight through to get there.
### A Productive Day and Toastmasters
On the work front, a few urgent tasks landed on my desk today. With a little help from my team, I dived straight into the problem-solving and managed to clear everything smoothly. It felt good to have a highly productive and positive day at the office, balancing the corporate responsibilities right alongside my daily discipline.
In the evening, I attended my regular Toastmasters meeting. After the intense focus of public speaking last week, today was a chance to sit back, observe, and listen to some genuinely fantastic speeches from my peers. It was a great way to unwind my mind after a busy workday.
### Returning to the Rhythm
Once the meeting concluded, I headed straight back home. I completed my evening pooja with a calm mind, maintaining the steady focus I've been building over the last two weeks. Afterward, I stepped into the kitchen, made myself a batch of fresh, hot dosas, and enjoyed a quiet, peaceful dinner.
### Today’s Lesson
Lord Ayyappa taught me today that while appreciation and praise from the world feel good, the true reward is the inner peace you return to at the end of the day. The cheers from the cricket tournament and the applause at the office are beautiful milestones, but the real grounding happens when you light the lamp at home and sit down for your evening prayers.
Two full weeks of the Deeksha are officially complete. With a satisfied mind and a rested body, I am all set to hit the bed.
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.
